The Esri Support app has been evolving over the years, and with the latest release, What’s New in the Esri Support App (October 2024) we believe it has become an indispensable tool for the global ArcGIS user community.

The Esri Support app provides access to support information and technical updates, and allows you to ask questions and get answers whenever and wherever you need them. It also provides you with up-to-date information via Notifications, including software patches as well as other news and updates. In this blog article, we highlight the features that we believe will be most beneficial to our users in the UK and Ireland.

AI Chatbot

Get answers to your GIS questions quickly and easily with the powerful AI chatbot. It supports conversational exchanges, enabling you to ask follow-up questions and reference previous answers. The AI chatbot has access to a vast database of up-to-date Esri content, including technical support articles, documentation, and blogs to answer your questions. It is also constantly learning. Case Management

Bugs and Enhancements

In addition to support cases, you can also access information on bugs and enhancements that are relevant to you, and receive notifications to stay informed of any status changes.

ArcGIS Online Status Updates

Notifications and Content

Easily access key information on patches, technical articles, videos, ArcGIS blog posts, and product life cycles. Recent updates are presented on the home screen, and notifications can be configured to keep you up to date with the latest news.

The latest version of the Esri Support app features a new, easy-to-navigate interface (including a dark mode option) and faster response times.

Error Scanning

We’re excited to announce a new feature in the Esri Support app that makes troubleshooting ArcGIS products easier than ever. Now, you can simply take a photo of any error message you encounter, upload it to the app, and receive instant suggestions and solutions from the AI Chatbot.
